Autumn is here, and you know what that means - time for tea!

Tulsi (aka temperate tulsi, holy basil, sacred basil) is a staple ingredient in the herbal tea world.

Known for bringing body, sweetness and depth, it is bubble-gum in a plant. Clove, tutti-frutti, herbal, just so lovely, it perfect harmonizes with the fruity, jammy nature of rose petal.

Mystic is balanced, grounded, whole-ingredient warmth. Certified organic, seed-to-cup.

Pie Tasting Tomorrow!

If you signed up to bring a pie, don’t forget to post a picture of your pie on Facebook and/or Instagram today or first thing tomorrow, tagging the Worthington Farmers Market and the vendors where you sourced ingredients.

We’ll provide napkins and forks and serve up the tasty bites. Market patrons will be our taste testers.

It’s not too late to get in on the action! You can still sign up to bring a pie!

  • Sign up and choose your category at the link below.

  • Feature a market product as the primary ingredient in your pie. (Please name the vendor!)

  • Bring your pie to the information booth on Saturday, October 17, by 9:00am.

The pie with the most votes across all categories wins the People’s Choice Award: $50 Market Gift Certificate + Our New Market Tote Bag + Market Swag!

(Donations are greatly appreciated to help cover costs and support MORE market tasting events!)

SNAP/EBT & Produce Perks

Squash and root veggies are in season in early October! The start of fall in Ohio is generally warm enough that you can still find some summer squash at the farmers’ market, and you will probably see winter squash too! Get extra veggies for free when you shop with SNAP/EBT at participating locations. Find one near you at producePERKS.org/locations
