Artist Reception: We Did It Wrong
Join us for “We Did It Wrong: A Collection of Extraordinary Mistakes”, featuring the work of analog collage artist Emily Morgan and watercolor artist Hannah Maltry. Both of these artists are known for using non traditional methods and subject matter in their work and this exhibition explores how embracing mistakes and experimentation can lead to unique and incredible outcomes.

The Secret Life of Sculpture
The Secret Life of Sculpture
The Secret Life of Sculpture is a fun, hands-on workshop with local bronze sculptor Michael Tizzano. Kids will learn how sculptures are designed and made, ask questions about turning ideas into art, and experience how science, heat, and creativity work together. Meet a real sculptor and see his work at High Road Gallery, across from the Worthington library sculpture he helped create. Kids will create a small “gallery creature” sculpture made to live in an art gallery.
The Secret Life of Sculpture is a fun, hands-on workshop happening Thursday, April 30!
Join local artist Michael Tizzano, retired art teacher and regionally known bronze sculptor - as he reveals how science, fire, metal, and imagination come together to create real bronze sculpture.
During this workshop, kids will create their own small gallery creature - a tiny sculpture designed to “live” in an art gallery!
Kids will:
✨ Learn how metal sculptures are designed, heated, poured, and finished
✨ Ask questions about how artists turn ideas into real objects
✨ Experience how art, chemistry, heat, and engineering all work together
✨ Talk with a real working sculptor and see his professional work up close at High Road Gallery - right across from the Worthington library sculpture he helped create

The Life and Art of William "bc" Bill Collins
Join Johneen Griffin for a journey through the life and work of Columbus native William (bc) Bill Collins (1943-2020), an artist and sign maker whose craft shaped the city's visual identity.
From iconic signage at The Old Bag of Nails, Hoster Brewery and Iron Grill Barbecue to murals like the 1992 Columbus Skyline, Collins' legacy lives on in central Ohio's streets and history. His work, spanning public art, murals and fine art, will be featured.

As our nation marks its 250th anniversary, the Worthington Chamber Orchestra is proud to present American Crossroads, a season that reflects the identity, heritage, and creativity of the American landscape through powerful musical experiences.
To close the season, we invite you to our first annual gala - an elegant, immersive evening bringing together civic leaders, arts patrons, and community partners for a celebration of music and community.

- A progressive, themed dinner inspired by iconic American regions
- Live chamber music in curated “destination rooms”

The Worthington Arts Festival is one of Central Ohio’s premier, community Fine Art/Fine Craft shows. This community event is produced by the McConnell Arts Center, in coordination with several community partners including the City of Worthington and Worthington Schools. Drawing 20,000 visitors annually, the Worthington Arts Festival has been ranked as one of the top 200 arts festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist magazine.
In 2023, we returned to our roots at the Worthington Village Green. Located at the intersection of High Street and 161, the festival is featured on all four quadrants of the park and is just a short walk from all of the businesses and restaurants of Old Worthington. We will be returning to the Village Green in 2024 with over 120 artists!
The McConnell Arts Center looks forward to once again bringing our community together to celebrate creative arts experiences during the 2025 Worthington Arts Festival.

Worthington Family Picnic & Fireworks
Gather the family and come on down to the Rotary Family Picnic and Fireworks Celebration on the 4th of July! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a family picnic on the lawn of Thomas Worthington High School (TWHS) with food, musical entertainment, Supergames and much more! The festivities on the lawn begin at 6:00 pm and continue until approximately 9:00 pm. Bring your own picnic or food is available to purchase from a variety of food trucks or hot off the grill. The Rotary Family Picnic is presented this year by FC Bank and organized by the Dublin-Worthington Rotary.
Fireworks begin at 10PM from the flats.

Fall is almost here and you know what that means.....it's time for the Worthington Fall Crawl! Your ticket to this popular event gets you some delicious fall treats from over 15 of our Old Worthington Merchants - think spiced apple cider, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin facials, and more! It will be a fall-themed stroll through our beautiful historic business district.
With your ticket, you will receive a program and a wristband which will allow you to receive treats at at least 15 businesses. Each business will thoughtfully prepare a treat for you to experience their business in a unique, yummy way.
The tour begins at the Cohatch Library location (752 High Street) where you will receive your tour map and a goody bag for toting your treats, whatever you don't eat right way, that is! Tour starts at 5 pm, you may pick up tickets starting at 4 pm, on Thursday, Oct 10. Tickets are required, and the event is expected to sell out quickly. (No tickets will be sold at the door.)

Worthington LOVES DOGS! Our October Night Market will feature our Spooky Pooch Party and be all about the pups. We'll have great food specials, live music, games, dog tricks and treats, rescue pups, and entertainment. And a PUP PARADE at 6 p.m.
Registration is required for your dog to participate in the Pup Parade.
Our DORA is every day, which means you can get a beverage to go to and enjoy the shops and neighborhood.

Old Worthington will host its annual Holiday Open House on the Sunday after Thanksgiving from noon till 5:00 p.m. Bring the family to enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season, including horse-drawn carriage rides, train rides, live music and a photo opportunity with Santa. Stay afterwards for the City's annual Tree Illumination on the SE Village Green, starting at 5:30!

Worthington Chapter DAR Hosts Wreath Across America
Worthington Chapter DAR Hosts Wreath Across America
Worthington Chapter DAR, an official Wreaths Across America (WAA) fundraising group, will host a ceremony and wreath laying, joining more than 4,000 other locations across the country for National Wreaths Across America Day. Placing wreaths on the headstones of our fallen service members, including several Revolutionary War patriots buried in Worthington. This annual event seeks to further the WAA mission WAA to Remember, Honor and Teach, ensuring the memory of those who served our country endures. This year’s theme “Remember Me”.
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM, in the church’s Fellowship Hall, enter from the side entrance. Doors open at 10:30 AM. Following the program, participants will adjourn to lay wreaths beginning at 12:00 Noon at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Circle of Honor, 5561 Milton Ave., Worthington, OH 43085. Participants are asked to say the service members name as they place the wreath, to ensure they are remembered.

"American Icons" at the Doll Museum at the Old Rectory
A yearlong celebration of American dolls opens February 11th at the Doll Museum at the Old Rectory.
The exhibition highlights American icons—including Barbie, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Shirley Temple, and Madame Alexander dolls—alongside many others. Together, the dolls in the exhibition reflect the interests and desires of children who played with them, and also serve as examples of manufacturing innovations through the 20th century.
Beginning with the first U.S. doll patent issued to Ludwig Greiner in 1830, the exhibition traces a proliferation of creative designs and the companies producing them that followed, while offering a fascinating look into our history of play and its marketing.

Christmas Traditions: A Historic Holiday Tour
Thursday, December 11th, tours starting at 6:30 & 7:00 pm; reservations required
Join us for this special evening tour of the Orange Johnson House, beautifully decorated and aglow for Christmas. Delight in the stories shared by history interpreters about Christmas celebrations by Worthington's founders in 1803, continuing through the 1800s and early 1900s. From Christmas stockings and trees to ghost stories and gift-giving, this tour will explore the traditions of the season!
Tickets may be purchased for $15.00 online using the BOOK NOW button below or via worthingtonhistory.org. Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that the Orange Johnson House has several flights of stairs. Guests should be able to navigate steps and stand during portions of the tour.
