Vendor Spotlight
Our mission at McCarty Farmstead is pretty simple:
We specialize in sustainable and regenerative farming practices to raise healthy and happy livestock, rebuild our soil, and supply our community with wholesome and nutritious protein.
Let's break that down:
We believe in sustainable and regenerative farming practices that build healthy soil instead of depleting it. We utilize practices like rotational grazing, multi-species grazing, and natural manure management to improve the health of our soil and pastures.
We believe livestock should be raised with plenty of green space, fresh air, sunshine, and the ability to live as naturally as possible. We believe healthy animals start with healthy soil. When our pastures are healthy and full of life, they provide better nutrition for our animals. In turn, our animals help fertilize the soil, cycle nutrients, and contribute to the health of the land. It’s all connected.
