Our Hull's Trace cheddar-style cheese, aged longer, turns into something we call Greenville. Named after the Greenville Treaty Line, not far from us.
It's sharper. Bolder. Good with crackers, good with grapes, good on its own too.
Some things just get better if you leave them alone long enough.
Come grab a wedge this weekend.

Veggie Spy & Versatile Vegan
Are you feeling fancy? Then you should give haricots verts (pronounced ah-ree-koh vehrs) a shot. Ok, they are also called French Green Beans, which doesn’t quite have the same panache. But no matter what you call them, they’re delicious! They are longer and thinner than the standard American green bean and are very tender with a strong flavor. You’ll find those and plenty of other culinary delights at the July 11 market! Correct pronunciation not required!

Fava beans – Mayapple Farms
Peaches- Gillogly Orchard
We also have several vendors with blueberries!
The Versatile Vegan advises that most any green bean recipe will work with haricots verts, such as Green Beans with Shallots and Walnuts. And Raber has shallots! https://vegweb.com/recipes/green-beans-shallots-and-walnuts
Fava beans are large beans that come in an inedible shell and have a creamy grassy flavor. Fava beans are the star of Slow Cooker Ful Medames (Fava Beans), an Egyptian breakfast dish with lentils and tomatoes. And if you’ve never cooked them before, here are some tips on shelling and preparing fava beans: https://theveganatlas.com/slow-cooker-ful-medames/
Team Veggie Spy can’t stop talking about peaches! Check out Gillogly again for juicy Ohio peaches. And nothing says summer like Peach Cobbler! https://namelymarly.com/wprm_print/79055

Market Tote Sale
This limited edition market tote is on sale for just $12!
Made from heavy duty canvas with a reinforced gusseted base (so it stands upright!) and a handy-dandy key clip to boot! This very “on trend” design is in high demand — some versions commanding top dollar online ;-) — but when these one-of-a-kind totes are gone, they’re gone.
Pick up yours tomorrow at the market information booth (corner of High & New England). They make great gifts, too!
