Mordisco Food Truck Joins Barrel & Bloom

The locally owned Venezuelan food truck Mordisco has opened a second truck, this one at Barrel & Bloom in Linworth.

This pairing offers a new option for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and drinks in Linworth! Barrel & Bloom opened last fall as a combined coffee shop and bar, brought to us by the folks behind Endeavor Brewery & Distillery.

Barrel & Bloom offers plenty of bright space to hang out, work a little, meet up with friends, and more. They offer a full coffee bar with espresso drinks, brewed coffee, cold brew, and tea. Over the course of the day they transition to being a full bar with Endeavor beers on tap and cocktails made with their award-winning spirits.

The family-owned Mordisco is probably known to locals at Olentangy River Brewing Company in Lewis Center. They’ve been dishing out Venezuelan arepas, breakfast burritos, quesadillas, and more for about four years, and now they’ve added the second truck at Barrel & Bloom.

This combination lets you enjoy your coffee or tea to go with breakfast or lunch from Mordisco. Try their breakfast burrito loaded with eggs, tots, and American cheese. Or the breaded tequeños filled with gooey cheese. Or a Venezuelan breakfast platter with shredded chicken or beef. Or even just a side of sweet plantains to go with your latte!

Mordisco is open at Barrel & Bloom Tuesdays-Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bar stays open late in to the evening hours, with beers, cocktails, Columbus Crew matches on the TV, board games, community events, and much more!
