This Week’s Food Trucks
Broke Johnny
Broke Johnny returns to the market this week with their fan-favorite menu of breakfast/brunch specialties like Huevos Rancheros, Chicken & Waffles, and the classic Breakfast Sandwich with Home Fries.
Place your order in front of US Bank on the east side of High Street!
Great Glizzie’s Gourmet Hot Dogs
We are excited to welcome Great Glizzie’s to our regular rotation of food trucks at the market. GG’s recently hit the Columbus food scene and they are quickly building a loyal following for their fully loaded gourmet hot dogs — including Brunch Dawgs!
Find them on E. New England Ave. between Dewey’s Pizza and House Wine.
Rolling Dutchman Donut Truck
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have the Rolling Dutchman Donut Truck join the market this week. They’ve got a killer menu of classic donuts including cake, fried, filled, cruellers and long johns! Order early — this truck consistently sells out in the first hour or so!
They will be parked at the south end of the market just past the Post Office on West High St (across the street from United Methodist Church).
Producer & Market Partner News
3rd & Spoon, Booth #100, Southeast Village Green
Okay… y’all were NOT kidding about loving S’mores. This flavor has been flying out faster than we can keep it stocked lately Between online orders and markets, every batch disappears almost immediately.
Creamy no bake cookie dough loaded with chocolate chips, marshmallow pieces, and graham cracker goodness = apparently a dangerous combination.
The Mochi Shop, Booth #50, UMC Lawn
Still surprised that many of our daifuku, by default, are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan! We peel, chop, steam, puree and sweeten our potato pastes with wildflower honey which really complements our potato flavors. Other daifuku flavors contain a piece of fresh fruit paired with sweetened white bean or red bean paste made in Japan.
Moon Maiden Flowers, Booth #71, E. New England Ave.
We offer you the most quintessential spring, fairy bouquet. Ranunculus, Iceland poppies ( with fragrance), and White lace flower ( Orlaya). These blooms will only be around for maybe one more week. The ranunculus have a long vase life, at least 10 days ( change the water each day). All the blooms are grown on our farm, and have been growing since last year or early February.
Red Moon Ranch, Booth #40, West High Street

The Alpha Group
Since 1970, The Alpha Group has provided gainful employment, quality rehabilitation, and adult day support services to individuals with disabilities in Delaware and surrounding counties.
Alpha is committed to the belief that people with disabilities have the same rights and responsibilities as all people; notably, the right to participate in their community. Services and supports that enhance and provide additional life choices to individuals should be accessible.
Learn more at Booth #69 on E. New England Avenue.
American Legion
Your local American Legion chapter will be at the market this Saturday as a prelude to Memorial Day. Stop by Booth #34 in front of La Chatelaine to visit with local veterans and show your appreciation for their service. Lapel poppies will be available at the booth. Pick one up and make a small donation to support the work of the American Legion.
What’s On Your Shopping List?
While eggs and bread are high-demand products, what really brings the crowds out to the market week-after-week is Farm Fresh Produce!
We have more than 20 produce farmers participating in the market this season, each with a diverse and ever-expanding harvest of Ohio-grown fruits and vegetables.
Most vendors are at the market every Saturday, some come later in the season depending on their crops, and a few have a rotating schedule so be sure to check the schedule before you shop.
What items are always on your shopping list? Meat? Dairy? Baked Goods? Let us know and we’ll feature the vendors offering those items in our next newsletter!
Check the vendor schedule for attendance and shop early for these high-demand products!
Produce Perks & SNAP/EBT
There’s some really beautiful produce growing in Ohio right now: carrots, kale, sprouting broccoli, garlic scapes, tomatoes, grapes, nasturtiums, marigolds, and violas. Tomatoes and grapes aren’t typically harvested until much later in the summer, but some farms get them sooner with greenhouses.
Fun fact: all the flowers in this arrangement are edible! Nasturtiums taste peppery and go well on a salad. Marigolds taste citrusy and herby and are great in teas. Violas taste a bit like sweeter lettuce, and go well in salads or as a decoration for desserts and drinks.
You can purchase everything (except violas and marigolds) with SNAP/EBT. At participating farmers’ markets, get a $1 for $1 match to spend on more fruits and vegetables! Visit ProducePERKS.org/locations to find a participating market near you.
