Veggie Spy & Versatile Vegan
Did you know the Worthington Farmers Market is open rain or shine? Good news is while the morning may start out rainy this farmers market Saturday, it looks like the rain will pass in time for the start of the market! We'll see you there!
Potatoes – Drift Hills
Fennel fronds – Franklinton
Napa (or Chinese) Cabbage – Rock Dove
The Versatile Vegan loves tapas, especially the classic Patatas Bravas (fiery potatoes), a popular bar snack in Spain.
Fennel fronds(or tops) are the feathery fern-like tops of the fennel bulb. The have a mild licorice-like flavor that is less intense than the bulb. Try them in this Fennel Fronds Pesto.
Napa (or Chinese) cabbage is super versatile and is the star of this Soba Noodles with Napa Cabbage dish!
TWO Food Trucks!
Ajumama
Chef Laura Lee and the Ajumama truck return to the market with her signature fast-and-sassy Korean Street Food. Classics like Bulgogi Hash and Korean Fried Chicken Biscuit are on the menu tomorrow!
Place your order in front of US Bank on the east side of High Street!
McGinnis Grill
Chef John McGinnis also brings the McGinnis Grill back to market this Saturday. Known for their gourmet sandwiches, this week’s special is the “Bodega Breakfast Bagel” loaded with egg, cheese, bacon and more all on an Everything Bagel.
Find the McGinnis Grill truck on E. New England Ave. between Dewey’s and House Wine.
